Due to a decline in vocations, Clonfert Diocese is inviting two priests from Nigeria to minister here. I have met with Bishop Charles Hammawa of Jalingo & he has agreed to nominate two priests from his diocese for a period of three years. This agreement can then be renewed for further terms. The priests will be supply priests in Clonfert, but will remain attached to Jalingo. Currently they are attending to various requirements under Civil & Canon Law & I expect then to be here in a few weeks. (Bishop John Kirby)
